Meet the Team

INTRODUCING DR. ERIK LIJESEN

Principal Dentist (GDC No: 62085)

Tandarts Amsterdam: 1987

Erik has been practising dentistry since 1987 and is deeply passionate about his profession. For him, dentistry is far more than a clinical service – it is a precise art form and a powerful way to improve the quality of life of his patients. His philosophy is rooted in continual improvement, ensuring he consistently delivers the highest standards and the most advanced treatments available.

A strong believer that excellence in cosmetic dentistry requires an artistic eye, Erik approaches every smile as a unique creation. He carefully considers not only the teeth, but also facial symmetry, skin tone, and personality to achieve results that look natural and harmonious. Just as with great art, a great dentist creates something truly beautiful – a confident, balanced smile.

Erik qualified with a degree in dentistry from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 1986 and has continued to expand his expertise throughout his career. Alongside being an expert of general dentistry, he has undertaken extensive advanced training in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. He has trained with some of the world’s leading clinicians, including the internationally renowned Didier Dietschi of the Geneva Smile Centre.

Outside the clinic, Erik is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He is an enthusiastic home cook who loves experimenting with new recipes. His other passions include skiing and sailing, pursuits that have taken him across Europe and beyond whenever time allows.

Nichol Roussety

Practice Manager

Nichol has been a valued and long-standing member of the team at Welling since 2002. As Practice Manager, she brings a wealth of experience and an exceptional depth of clinical knowledge, gained from many years on the clinical side of the practice. Although she now focuses fully on administration and management, her clinical insight continues to be an invaluable asset to both the team and the practice as a whole.

Outside of work, Nichol loves reading, relaxing on holiday with a cocktail in hand, and spending time with family and friends. She’s well known for her great sense of humour and playful banter, often sharing jokes with the team and keeping the atmosphere upbeat and supportive.

Team member Tracey
Tracey Murphy

Hygienist (GDC No: 4690)

Kings College Dental Hospital: 1994

Tracey has been keeping teeth sparkling and gums happy for over 30 years. Starting her career as a dental nurse, she climbed the ladder all the way to a senior nursing role at King’s College Hospital, before becoming a dental hygiene superstar. Along the way, she has taught at prestigious dental hospitals and rolled out training programs for hygienists across the country.

Tracey’s patients love her partly because of her expert advice, partly because she’s genuinely caring, and partly because she’s just that easy to chat to.
She also has a knack for treating celebrity clients, though fame doesn’t always register. Once, during a treatment, she casually asked a gentleman what he did for a living. When he said “pianist,” she asked, “Are you any good?” That was the moment she realised she was cleaning the teeth of Jools Holland.

In her spare time, Tracey enjoys a cheeky gin and tonic and a little boogie on the dance floor, because even dental superheroes need to let their hair down.
